I am a Postdoctoral Associate at the Purpose and Identity Processes Lab, Department of Psychology, Cornell University. I will be joining the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, in middle November 2021 as an assistant professor. My research lies at the intersections of Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, and Motivational Psychology and has been focused on three strands: (1) understanding students’ social, cognitive, and emotional patterns in Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) at the micro and longitudinal level; (2) designing pedagogical and technological supports to foster students' collective responsibility, productive knowledge building, and emotional wellbeing; (3) examining adolescents’ chosen topics and task value beliefs and investigating how their motivations, emotions, and self-regulation change during self-driven learning. I received my Ph.D. degree in Curriculum & Pedagogy from OISE, University of Toronto in 2020, and have Learning Sciences, Curriculum Studies, and Educational Technology backgrounds. My articles have been published in journals such as the Internet and Higher Education, User Modeling and User-Adapted Interaction, Computers & Education, and Computers in Human Behaviors.
For fun, I enjoy cooking, biking, and hiking.
